New Beginnings

Well this is my first post on my new blog page and I have to say that I am very excited about it. I Hope and pray that this blog will be an encouragement to every one who reads it and that I will also be able to glorify the Lord in all that I write.
To tell you a little about me , I am saved by grace through faith because of the finished work of calvary by the Lord Jesus Christ. I have a peace that passeth all understanding, joy unspeakable and an ever present help in my time of troubles . Every day that I spend with Jesus just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter. I am so thankful that He looked down upon a lost world and sent His son to be our saviour. If you are reading this post and you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour, then i hope that something you read here will encourage you come to a saving knowledge of Him. The bible tells me that salvation is for all who will believe on Jesus, Its not about all you've done but about what He done for you.
Now let me tell you about the family and friends that God has blessed me with.
My dear husband is a hardworking man, who is a great provider for his family and I love him dearly.
I have three precious children a dear daughter age 8, a dear son age 5, and another dear son age 2(will be on july 6, hes saying cheeeese in the picture:). I have learned alot about myself since having children, mainly that I don't have as much patience as I once thought I had, that a full size bed can hold five people comfortably, that life isn't as serious as we think it is and that laundry hampers make great boats, but most important thing I've learned is that I wouldn't dream of raising my children without the help of an almighty God. I also have some of the greatest friends in the world, My older sister, who always helps me to see things from the other side even when I don't want to, My younger sister, who, even though we fuss sometimes, will defend me to the end of the earth, and the very best friend in all the world, we live about 2 hours away from each other and don't always talk every day and we don't see each other near as often as I would like to but we can always pick up right where we left off and I know that she is praying for me every day. God has been so good to me, I don't deserve any of what He has given me but I am so thankful for it.

Well now that I have told you about the people who make my life interesting, I will tell you about what keeps me busy( besides the piles of laundry, dirty dishes, sticky floors and wonderful children) I love horses, everything that has to do with horses, the brushing, the mucking stalls and especially the riding. Just this past year my daughter started running barrels and poles with our local junior rodeo assoc., and my dear son #1 loves to ride his pony at home but at the rodeos he rides sheep and ropes, and dear son #2 is a rodeo all by himself. I have a beautiful gray mare that has a colt who will be 3 months old tomorrow, My husband gave her to me last year for my birthday, I wonder what he'll do this year? Anyways, this just one of things that keeps me busy everyday.
I think that i could really get into this bloggin thang its pretty fun. My hope is that every one who reads my posts will walk away from their computers with a smile and be encouraged to tell some else about the good things that God has done for them. see ya'll tommorrow
