We played piano with cousins,
We watched it snow, (which didn't last very long, but was very pretty)
We ate soup from bread bowls, or did we just eat the bowl..., (great way to get kids to eat soup by the way, Thanks to Donna over at Moms Frugal)
Got a new big boy bed and He was so excited,( and let me tell you trundle beds are they way to go, especially if you don't have much space)Just look at how happy he is!!!My beautiful chickens have started laying again, My kids go egg hunting everyday!
We shot Bows with our friends, with a little help from Dead Eye Stephens ( thats what the boys called the big boy who was helping them out, although I don't recall anyone being a dead eye that day, but it was so very warm and pretty)
Even with the homemade bow, my boy is getting to be a pretty good shot, if I do say so myself;)
Ate some wonderful Israeli Doughnuts, made from another wonderful recipe at Moms Frugal, and boy, were they finger licking good!!
We spent a wonderfully warm Friday burning brush and hiking along the creek with Pa and Papa, making many memories.
And I got to do a little gardening, My dad and I dug up some of my favorite flowers, Buttercups, and I hope to get them replanted soon. Always the first flowers to pop out of the ground, so eager they are for spring to arrive , they almost always get snowed on, and this year I hope to add a few more to my yard.
Yep, Spring is in the air around here and I for one am looking forward to it. We have had many busy days, but they have been blessed days, We've rode horses and played outside til we were just worn out and now that its back to being cold, for a few days that is, at least we know what we've got to look forward to in just a few more weeks.
